The Benalla Auto Club is sad to announce the resignation of Lachlan Mansell from his full-time marketing and communications role, but pleased to welcome Chequered Flag Media as a communications partner for the group from the start of 2017.
Mr Mansell has been an integral part of the BAC team for a number of years, having a varied role including marketing of events, competitor liaison and event commentary.
Benalla Auto Club Group CEO Chris Lewis-Williams wished Mr Mansell the best with his business endeavours.
“Lachlan is keen to focus his efforts full time in 2017 on his Chequered Flag Media business and we wish him every success; the BAC will be using Chequered Flag Media’s services in 2017,” Mr Lewis-Williams said.
“Although Lachlan will no longer be an employee of the BAC Group, we will still be reliant on his encyclopaedic knowledge of Australian Motorsport and his commentary and communication skills moving forward.”
“Everyone at the BAC wishes Lachlan all the best with his business venture.”
“I thank everyone at Wakefield Park, Winton and the AASA for their support; I have thoroughly enjoyed working for the BAC Group, and look forward to continuing the relationship as a contractor,” Mr Mansell added.
“I’m excited about the opportunities ahead, and possibilities to cross-promote the BAC businesses in line with our representation of other clients.”
Mr Mansell’s employment will formally conclude at the end of December, with Chequered Flag Media becoming a full-time operation from 1 January, 2017.
